Each day in the monastery is composed of a balance of Liturgy, prayer and work, meant to bring us into closer union with Christ. The Constitutions of the Order tell us, “Only if the brothers prefer nothing whatever to Christ will they be happy to persevere in a life that is ordinary, obscure and laborious.”
